Educating for Empowerment

Education is a powerful tool for transformation. Through Mission Shiksha, HHYF works to provide basic education and awareness to children living in vulnerable conditions, ranging from child labourers and street children to those affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty, and disability.

The initiative focuses on:

• Enabling children to access formal education

• Promoting awareness of health, hygiene, and human rights

• Supporting girls and women through targeted educational programs

• Enhancing school infrastructure and learning environments

With support from Equirus, HHYF has distributed school bags to hundreds of students and improved school facilities through renovation efforts, ensuring children have a safe and inspiring space to learn.

Fighting Hunger with Compassion

During times of crisis, such as the pandemic lockdown, HHYF launched Mission Bhookh to provide essential food and relief to marginalized groups including daily wage earners, migrant workers, and transgender individuals.

This initiative has:

• Delivered food kits to thousands of families

• Served hot meals to individuals in need

• Extended care to stray animals

• Provided ration kits to senior citizens in underserved areas

Equirus’ support has helped HHYF reach more communities, ensuring that no one goes hungry and that dignity is preserved even in the toughest times.
